Imparja Television is unique in the fact that it’s an independent station based in the Northern Territory, transmitting from Alice Springs. We boast the largest footprint in the southern hemisphere with a potential audience of 430,000. Imparja covers six states and territories, reaching remote communities in the Northern Territory and the majority of remote areas in South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales with select coverage in both Victoria and Tasmania.

Imparja is wholly Aboriginally owned and the last truly independent broadcaster in Australia.

As from February 2008 our programming is being sourced from the Nine Network. Mirroring Nine’s programming schedule means that we are not constantly having to re-invent our programming base on a daily, weekly or annual basis, whilst still allowing us to insert locally produced programs. Nine are investing heavily in improvements in both programming and infrastructure and we believe this will benefit Imparja’s viewers in the short and long term. Our in-depth research indicated that Nine programming better reflects our viewer base in our entire broadcast footprint.

The Sales Executives work personally with our clients every step of the way – from producing a commercial, to arranging airtime – ensuring that each client’s particular advertising requirements are met. The Sales Executives care about what products our clients are offering and research programs to ensure their commercial is targeting a specific program audience.

Sales Executives are proactive towards producing cost effective advertising campaigns. Owing to their continuous involvement with the client during the advertising process, the Sales Executives are able to design a targeted campaign that will generate the desired result.
